Welcome to the Department of Agricultural Engineering. This is one of the five departments within the School.

The department is charged with the responsibility of developing, implementing and reviewing courses and curricula in agricultural engineering-based technologies.

The department is also at the centre of the dissemination of modern technology to agricultural stakeholders through its outreach unit.

This is accomplished through participation in agricultural shows, exhibitions, field days, and selected farm visits amongst others.

Within the School, the department spearheads open days walk-in training sessions every Thursday of the week for visiting stakeholders in any value chain technology.

Practical hands-on learnings sessions on value chains technologies are firmly reinforced through technology demo models at the farm.

Indeed, training at KSA is obviously a cut above the rest in imparting practical skills and competency in short and long courses.
