Kenya School of Agriculture (KSA), is a premier Agricultural Competence-Based Educational Training (CBET) Institution offering modular-based training in demanded specialities in Agriculture. As a national tertiary training institution, KSA bridges the skills gap through the provision of pre-service and in-service training in specialized areas demanded by the agricultural sector.

Kenya School of Agriculture has its main campus in Nyeri County, at Wambugu farm. The main campus is located five kilometres from Nyeri town along Nyeri-Karatina Highway.

It has four other strategically positioned satellite campuses in different agro-ecological zones all over the country. The satellite campuses are: KSA Songa Mbele – Thika in Kiambu County, KSA Nakuru campus in Nakuru County, KSA Ainabkoi campus in Uasin Gishu County and KSA Ugenya campus in Siaya County. There is potential to expand to other Counties.

As a public institution, the Kenya School of Agriculture’s doors is open to all stakeholders in agriculture for training, consultancy, incubation, agribusiness development, outreach and collaborations and partnerships. We are committed to the capacity to build stakeholders in the agricultural sector to promote efficiency along the value chains.

KSA is accredited by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) and has enthusiastic, vibrant and highly motivated experts along agricultural value chains ready to mentor and impart skills to all trainees at the School.

The mode of training at KSA gives it an edge since it’s both modular and continuous. Graduates from the school are well equipped with relevant technical skills to address real issues in the agricultural sector as entrepreneurs, employers and employees (3Es).

To promote critical thinkers and doers for societal development, the school has an incubation centre where mentorship and technology incubation takes place.

You are in the right place, at the right time.

Welcome to the Kenya School of Agriculture.
